Who we are
Com4 is a family-owned electronic security provider and a local security business built by installers, with over 15 years of experience in local consulting, design and delivery. We work out of Unit 27, 930 Great South Road in Penrose, which gives us good reach across greater Auckland. Our work is electronic security: access control, CCTV, intercoms and intruder alarms, for existing sites and new projects.
The business is led by directors Paul Parker, Dillon Parker and Alyssa Longdell. Members of our team hold Tecom Integriti and Gallagher certifications.
Our tagline is Security+ Innovation. In practice that means using modern, well-supported technology where it genuinely helps, such as mobile credentials, cloud management and integrated video, while keeping the fundamentals right: the right lock on the right door, tidy cabling and a system your team can actually use.

- Park Hyatt Auckland: access control (ICT), installing and commissioning control equipment for 200 hardwired doors, from start to finish.
- MPI Hub Auckland: Gallagher and Avigilon, with 30+ doors with intruder alarms and 30+ cameras to Government standards.
- Sylvia Park Galleria: Gallagher and Vivotek, with 30+ cameras and 30+ controlled doors, plus parallel projects for Sylvia Park.

“We needed our alarm system upgraded and some CCTV installed, Dillon provided us with some options and quoted us a reasonable price, once we accepted the quote the Com4 team arrived when they said they would and the installation was complete in the one day, we ended up with 10 High definition cameras and a Gallagher SMB alarm system, the staff love the App based control of the system and we can easily see who came and went and when. The system alerts us if we forget to arm it and also when the alarm goes off, we can see the cameras on our phones or laptop so can easily check the site and resecure it on the app if everything is ok. No need for security guards! I have to say we are pretty happy with the new system and highly recommend Dillon and his team.”
How we work
- We survey before we quote. Your doors, ceilings and network decide what a system really involves.
- We design systems to work together. Access, video, intercom and alarm are planned as one.
- We document everything. You get as-builts, schedules and admin access, and you own your system.
- We are straight with you. If part of your existing system is fine, we will say so.
