What a client says

“We needed our alarm system upgraded and some CCTV installed, Dillon provided us with some options and quoted us a reasonable price, once we accepted the quote the Com4 team arrived when they said they would and the installation was complete in the one day, we ended up with 10 High definition cameras and a Gallagher SMB alarm system, the staff love the App based control of the system and we can easily see who came and went and when. The system alerts us if we forget to arm it and also when the alarm goes off, we can see the cameras on our phones or laptop so can easily check the site and resecure it on the app if everything is ok. No need for security guards! I have to say we are pretty happy with the new system and highly recommend Dillon and his team.”

Common questions

Do you work on existing systems?

Yes. Many jobs start with a system another company installed. We assess what is there, tell you what can be kept and quote to extend, upgrade or replace only what is needed.

Do security installers in New Zealand need a licence?

Under the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010, businesses installing alarms and security cameras on other people's premises need a security technician licence, and their staff need a certificate of approval. You can check any company on the PSPLA register. Com4 holds PSPLA company licence 25-128630 (expires 15 April 2030).

Can you price from plans for a tender?

Yes. Send the drawings and security or electrical specification through the form and we will price to the documents and flag anything that needs clarifying.

Request a quote

Tell us what you need secured and where. Paul or one of the Com4 team will come back to you, usually to arrange a site visit so the quote is based on your actual doors, cabling routes and network.
